A body mist and bath sugar using characters from “Chiikawa” will be released. This is a collaboration item with the cosmetics brand “Lovisia”.
The original work of “Chiikawa” is a web manga that illustrator Nagano has been posting on Twitter since 2020.
The contrast between the cute little characters and the harsh worldview has made it popular with both adults and children. The TV anime is aired on Fuji TV’s Mezamashi TV every Tuesday and Friday at around 7:40.
Chiikawa, Hachiware, Usagi, Kurimanju, Shisa and other characters from “Chiikawa” are now available as body mists and bath sugars in the Lovisia cosmetics series.
Based on the theme of “Happy Bubbles”, the products feature original Lovisia designs that will put a smile on your face, and depict Chiikawa and friends playing with bubbles and enjoying a bath.
“Lovisia Chiikawa Body Mist” is a set of 6 types of body mists depicting Chiikawa and friends having fun playing with bubbles. They
express how they play with bubbles, such as “Chiikawa” making small bubbles, “Hachiware” making big bubbles, and “Usagi” making bubbles directly with his mouth. In addition, the designs feature pairs of characters who are closely related to each other in the story, such as “chestnut manju and shisa,” “Hachiware and sea otter,” and “Flying squirrel and used bookstore.”
The body mists come in six different scents, each representing a different character: Sabon (Chiikawa), White Tea (Hachiware), Osmanthus (Rabbit), Magnolia (Churimanju & Shisa), Pear (Western Pear) & Freesia (Hachiware & Sea Otter), and White Bouquet (Flying Squirrel & Second-hand Bookstore). The subtle, soft scents can be used even by people who don’t like perfume.
Made in Japan, it contains moisturizing ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, collagen, and persimmon tannin. It comes in a convenient mini size that is easy to carry around, and can be used for various daily moisturizing purposes.
“Lovisia Chiikawa Bath Sugar” is a set of six types of bath sugar designed to show Chiikawa and friends enjoying a bath.
The front side features images of bath time such as “Chiikawa enjoying a relaxing bath”, “Usagi playing with soap”, and “Hachiware enduring a cold bath with a sea otter”, while the back side features designs of the characters after a bath. Also, when you open it, Yoroi-san appears, adding a playful touch.
It contains five moisturizing ingredients: peach leaf extract, yuzu fruit extract, collagen, shea butter, and royal jelly extract.
“Lovisia Chiikawa Body Mist & Bath Sugar” (12 types in total) will be available from September 24, 2024 at Chiikawa Land, Chiikawa Market, Lovisia Online Shop, variety shops nationwide, etc. At the Lovisia Online Shop, customers who purchase over 2,200 yen (tax included) will receive a “Lovisia Original Multi-Cloth” as a gift.
