From the movie “Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the Movie,” new merchandise featuring Yuta Okkotsu and Gojo Satoru in yukata will be released by Animate. The “Anime Jujutsu Kaisen Fair 2024 ~Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the Movie~” will also be held, and a Gratte collaboration will be held at Animate Cafe Gratte nationwide, including the Ikebukuro main store.
“Jujutsu Kaisen” is a dark fantasy manga by Gege Akutami currently being serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump”. It is a dramatic story about the curse of the protagonist, Yuji Itadori, who one day takes a curse into his soul in order to save a classmate who is attacked by it. It has been announced that the series will be completed in the 44th issue of 2024, which will be released on September 30th.
It was adapted into an anime in October 2020, and the film “Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie” was released in December 2021. The third season of the anime, “Death Becomes Her,” has also been decided to be produced, and the “Akutami Gege “Jujutsu Kaisen” Exhibition” will be held in Osaka from April 2025.
Yuta Okkotsu, Maki Zenin, Toge Inumaki, Panda, and Gojo Satoru will be appearing in yukata robes as new Animate goods.
The lineup includes the standard acrylic stand, as well as a character badge collection, trading clear bromides, and wooden key chains. The items will be on sale at the “Jujutsu Kaisen Anime Fair 2024 – Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the Movie” held at Animate stores nationwide and through Animate’s online store from September 28th to October 13th.
In addition, Animate Cafe Gratte (Ikebukuro main store, Akihabara ANNEX, Shibuya, Kichijoji Parco, Yokohama Vivre, Sendai, Nagoya, Osaka Nihonbashi, Okayama), which sells the graphic latte “Gratté” with characters printed on the cream on top of the drink, will be holding a Gratte collaboration “Anime Jujutsu Kaisen Fair 2024 ~ Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the Movie ~ Gratte”.
A total of five types of gratte and cookies will be sold, and as a paid bonus, you can purchase an acrylic coaster (5 types in total/random) with each menu item ordered.
In addition, cookies will be sold at Animate stores in Takasaki, Omiya, Machida, Chiba, Sapporo, Niigata, Sannomiya, Kyoto, Fukuoka Parco, Hiroshima, Shizuoka Parco, Kawasaki, and Shinjuku.
During the fair, for every 1,100 yen (tax included) deposit spent on purchasing or pre-ordering related character merchandise, or for every book, CD, Blu-ray, DVD, or Gratte product purchased or pre-ordered (deposit of 1,100 yen (tax included) or more required), one special “fan” (5 types available, randomly selected) will be given out.
