In recent years, people who are shy when it comes to romance, or who are gentle and dislike conflict, are sometimes called “herbivores.” Characters who fit the term “herbivores” often appear in anime as well. Herbivores come in a variety of types
, from those who are always passive, who never express their desires, to those who actually eat grass .
