“Voice Actors’ Night Out Month [Yasumoto Hiroki x Yashiro Taku] #20” was broadcast on ABEMA from 10:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Monday, October 7, 2024.

In this broadcast, the program’s official character, Sobi, appeared and played games related to Sobi, such as the “Sobi-nuki Game,” in which participants had to answer in rhythm by removing the “so,” “bi,” and “- (macro note)” from the given word, and “Flying Squirrel Watching,” in which participants had to guess what flew through the gaps.
“I want to get closer to Yasumoto Yashiro!” This was the first time in about four months that the program’s official character, Soby, made an appearance on air. During the airing, they had plenty of fun playing around with Soby’s plans.
First, they played the “Sobi-nuki Game,” a brain training game that was also played last time (#9), where participants had to answer the question by removing the “so,” “bi,” and “- (macro note)” from the word and matching it to the rhythm. Last time, Sobi caused a stir in the studio with his ridiculous answer of “soba” to the simple question “soba.” He said, “I’m confident! I’ve practiced,” and started the game, saying he’s here for revenge. However, he immediately failed again with the easy question of “flower vase.” Sobi desperately pleaded, “Wait! That wasn’t right!”, but Yasumoto mercilessly kicked him with his knee and beat him up, and the studio was filled with laughter. Meanwhile, Yashiro, who had shown his incompetence along with Sobi last time. “If I make a mistake, it’ll be a mess!” he said enthusiastically, but Yashiro made a series of mistakes just like Sobi and was defeated. Sobi supported him by saying, “Sobi is the only one who understands Taku-chan’s feelings!” After that, the two of them hit it off because of their mistakes, and every time they make a mistake, they lick their wounds, saying things like, “That’s the wrong question!” and “That’s impossible,” and their friendship deepens.
However, they soon had a falling out over the next new game, “Yoasohisohii Game.” This is another brain-training rhythm game in which participants are asked to answer by removing the voiced and semi-voiced consonants from the given word and matching it to the rhythm. The studio erupted in laughter when Yashiro answered the first question, “Machida Zelvia,” as “Machida Serhiha.” Devastated by his tragic mistake, Yashiro complained, “This is the worst! I’ve had enough! I really want to go home,” and “Why does Soby always bring such incomprehensible games like this!”, causing even more laughter.
The program also featured a cooperative game called “Flying Squirrel Watching,” where participants had to write one character at a time to guess what three characters were flying across a 30cm gap. They had a hard time with the trick questions from the staff, but still enjoyed the game. And for the final question, Sobi gave another naive answer. The theme was a panel with a picture of a certain voice actor, and after several hints, two people and one pet were convinced that the answer was “Yasumoto Hiroki.” Since the theme was three characters, Yasumoto and Yashiro tried to match it with “Hiroki” instead of using their full name or surname in kanji, but for some reason Sobi, who was in charge of the second character, answered “Gen,” and the answer became “Himotoki,” causing the studio to erupt in laughter. After that, Yasumoto, who had been completely taken over by Sobi, exploded with serious criticism, saying, “You want to match it with “Hiroki” and say “Hey!” What if you don’t match it!?” and “I thought you’d end it with “Don’t play with me,” but…” and the studio was filled with even more laughter.
Additionally, it was announced that Toya Kikunosuke from the TV anime “The Do-It-Yourself Lady is Conquering His Majesty the Dragon Emperor” will be making a guest appearance next week on Monday, October 14th (national holiday).
