“Funeral of Frieren” – Designs of original illustrations of Frieren, Himmel, Aura, and others ♪ Sticker lottery that can be drawn from treasure chests

A new product using the original illustrations from “Funeral of Frielen” has been released, “Funeral of Frielen Sticker Lottery Chapter 1: The Magic of Stickers Coming Out of Envelopes.” It will be on sale from October 11, 2024 at some bookstores, convenience stores, and movie theaters nationwide.

“Furieren: The Funeral of Frieren” is a manga currently being serialized in “Weekly Shonen Sunday” and has sold over 22 million copies. The unique fantasy story begins with the defeat of the Demon King and has been well-received not only by manga fans, but also by the TV anime series that aired for two seasons starting on September 28, 2023. It has become such a social phenomenon that every Friday night, “Frieren”, “Himmel”, and “Aura” are trending on X (formerly Twitter).

On September 28th, a special screening event was held to celebrate the first anniversary of the anime’s broadcast, during which it was announced that the long-awaited second season of the anime would be produced. The series has become a huge topic, with “Frieren Season 2” ranking in X’s trends, and we can’t take our eyes off it.

“Funeral of Frieren Sticker Lottery Chapter 1: The Magic of Stickers Coming Out of Envelopes” is a new sticker lottery product that uses illustrations from the original “Funeral of Frieren”.
There are 7 types of stickers and 1 secret type, for a total of 8 types. The stickers are the same size as the “Funeral of Frieren” comics (2x paperback), and feature stylish designs with carefully selected illustrations by theme.

There are 6 types in total, and they are sold in a random special envelope inside an OPP bag.

At the stores, there will be a special “treasure chest-type sales case” from which customers can choose their favorite sticker. Because it is a blind method, you will have to buy it and open it to find out which of the eight stickers is inside.
