A new Ichiban Kuji lottery has been released to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the TV anime “Cardcaptor Sakura.” The lineup of prizes, including scale figures, has been announced.
“Cardcaptor Sakura” is a manga serialized in the monthly shojo manga magazine “Nakayoshi” by the creative group CLAMP from the June 1996 issue to the August 2000 issue. It depicts the exploits of Sakura, also known as Kinomoto Sakura, who struggles as a “cardcaptor” to retrieve the “Clow Cards,” which are said to bring disaster to the world. It was made into an anime by NHK from 1998 to 2000 and became popular.
A new chapter, Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card, began serialization in 2016, marking the 20th anniversary of the series, and will conclude in 2023 after seven and a half years of serialization. 2023 will mark the 25th anniversary of the anime broadcast, and it has been announced that a sequel to the Clear Card anime will be produced.
The new “Ichiban Kuji Anime Cardcaptor Sakura 25TH ANNIVERSARY” offers the first scale figure “Cardcaptor Sakura Figure” as the A Prize. Sakura is wearing the costume from the opening of the “Clow Card Arc”, and the effects and details are recreated with great attention to detail. The size is about 18cm.
Prize B, “Sparkling Dream Compact Mirror (Design Reprint),” is a double-sided mirror that reproduces the design of the compact that appeared in the Ichiban coffret in 2019.
C Prize “Multi-Case” is a multi-case made from the “Sakura Card Book”, a book of Clow Cards that has been magically remade. It has convenient dividers and a “star” charm on the zipper.
Other prizes in the lineup include D Prize “Memorial Plates,” which are glass plates featuring all three designs from the “Clow Card Arc,” “Sakura Card Arc,” and “Clear Card Arc,” E Prize “Hand Towel Collection” (6 types), where you can choose between a jacquard towel or a microfiber towel, F Prize “Rubber Charms” (9 types), which recreate your memories in a puzzle shape, and G Prize “4-section Stickers” (6 types), which have a film-like finish.
Additionally, if you draw the last one, you can get the last prize, which is a “Cardcaptor Sakura Figure Special Color Ver.”
“Ichiban Kuji Anime Cardcaptor Sakura 25TH ANNIVERSARY” will be available from October 12th at Lawson, bookstores, hobby shops, Ichiban Kuji ONLINE, and other locations.
