It has been announced that a One Piece pop-up event, “ONE PIECE Mugiwara Store in Bandai Namco Cross Store,” will be held at the Bandai Namco Cross Store Yokohama from October 25 to December 8, 2024, and in Hakata from December 20 to January 26, 2025.
“ONE PIECE” is a maritime adventure romance by Eiichiro Oda about the “One Piece” treasure, which began serialization in issue 34 of “Weekly Shonen Jump” on July 22, 1997, and celebrated its 25th anniversary in July 2022. The story follows the
protagonist, a boy named Monkey D. Luffy, as he and his friends in the “Straw Hat Pirates,” who are bound by strong bonds, honing their respective “abilities” and skills as they adventure across the oceans of the world in order to become the King of Pirates.
This time, the “ONE PIECE Mugiwara Store in Bandai Namco Cross Store” will sell products from the official “ONE PIECE” merchandise shop, “ONE PIECE Mugiwara Store.” There will also be a large selection of original goods featuring character illustrations drawn specifically for the event.
The new illustrations feature 13 characters in total, including the main character Luffy, Lucci, Zoro, S-Hawk, Shanks, Kid, Blackbeard, Law, Garp, Kuzan, Buggy from CROSS GUILD, Crocodile, and Mihawk.
The original goods include a wide variety of products, such as the randomly included “Instant Photo Style Sheet Collection” (26 types in total / 2 sheets / 500 yen each), “Instant Photo Style Sheet Album” (2 types in total / 3,000 yen each), “Foil Stamped Acrylic Stand” (13 types in total / 1,850 yen each), “Display Frame” (13 types in total / 1,700 yen each), “Acrylic Key Chain Set” (2-piece set / 5 types in total / 1,200 yen each), and “Acrylic Key Chain Set” (3-piece set / 1 type in total / 1,800 yen).
A new mini-game is “Buggy’s Dismemberment Mini-Game!”. Players must correctly match up Buggy’s body, which has been torn apart by the power of the Dismemberment Fruit, to win a prize featuring a newly drawn illustration depending on the result.
Prize A is an acrylic sheet stand (13 types in total), Prize B is a tin magnet (13 types in total), and Prize C is a die-cut sticker (26 types in total).
Additionally, the super-sized lottery machine “Departing! Sunny Giant Lottery Machine,” which was well received last time, will also be making a comeback. Prizes will be awarded depending on the color that comes up. Prize A is an acrylic name block (13 types in total), Prize B is a tin badge (26 types in total), and Prize C is a die-cut sticker that is also used in the Buggy game. The mini-game costs 600 yen each (all prices include tax).
In addition, desserts and food with character motifs will be on sale, as well as custom crepes with a choice of character toppings. There will also be a photo spot featuring the two key visuals at the venue, allowing you to have a fun time.
