Sanrio Characters has released an afternoon tea set perfect for Halloween. It will be available for a limited time until November 7th at the Sanrio Characters Garden Cafe in Ueno, Tokyo.
The “Garden Halloween Afternoon Tea Set” is a set that includes an autumn-only afternoon tea and a basket.
There are eight types of character mousse, and you can choose your favorite from Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Pompompurin, Pochacco, Cinnamoroll, Hangyodon, and Little Twin Stars.
The top tier of the afternoon tea consists of mille crepes and grapes, pumpkin tart and chestnut, brulee tart, chocolate gateau, and apple and tea parfait (panna cotta, tea chiffon cake, apple sauce, feuilletine, and chocolate garnish).
The bottom tier is a very filling meal consisting of a mini burger, rice croquette with demi-glace sauce, salad of the day, and chilled corn soup.
The basket contains custard fondue (churros, Danish bread, petit choux, grapes, and strawberries), chocolate sauce, and roasted green tea powder to change the flavor.
The price of the “Garden Halloween Afternoon Tea Set” is 4,400 yen. You can select the “Drink Plan” (which includes a trading card as an admission bonus) when you enter the store.
If you are visiting in a group, if you are a junior high school student or older, you must order one drink for each person in the group.
