From the TV anime “Blue Lock,” new merchandise using original illustrations from the second installment of the “BIRTHDAY FLOWER” series is now available. It will be sold in advance at the Chugai Mining booth at “Animate Girls Festival 2024 (hereinafter referred to as AGF2024)” to be held from November 9th to November 10th, 2024. Reservations are also being accepted on the mail order site “Chugaionline.”
“Blue Lock” is a TV anime based on the manga by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura, which is currently being serialized in Kodansha’s “Weekly Shonen Magazine” and has sold over 40 million copies worldwide. The story follows high school forwards who are gathered in “Blue Lock” (Blue Prison) as they aim to become the world’s best striker, risking their soccer careers and goals in a knockout contest.
The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2022 to March 2023, and the first movie version, “Blue Lock: Episode Nagi,” was released in April 2024. In the second season, “Blue Lock VS. U-20 JAPAN,” which began on October 5, 35 people who survived the harsh selection process will challenge the U-20 Japan National Team in the most crazy big match in history, with the survival of the “Blue Lock” project at stake.
This time, the new goods from the popular “BIRTHDAY FLOWER” series will be sold in advance at “AGF2024”. The new illustrations show the eight characters, including Kiyoyoichi, Nagi Seishiro, Haraku Kai, Mikage Reo, Itoshi Rin, Itoshi Sae, Shido Ryusei, and Hiori Hitsuji, wearing flower crowns of their respective birth flowers and taking a nap.
The lineup includes a variety of items, including an acrylic figure stand that lets you enjoy the full-body illustrations, a sticker set featuring mini character illustrations, and
trading holographic foil-stamped matte tin badges with two designs: a life-size illustration and a mini character illustration.
The polaroid collection, which includes illustrations from the first installment of the “BIRTHDAY FLOWER” series, is also a must-see.
