“I’ll give you all my blood” – “I can’t stop crying” at Himiko Toga’s “blood transfusion of love” in the final episode of the 7th season of the anime “My Hero Academia”

The final episode of the seventh season of the anime “My Hero Academia” has been airing since October 12th. Himiko Toga (voiced by Misato Fukuen), who is supposed to be the enemy, puts her life on the line to save Ochaco Uraraka (voiced by Ayane Sakura), causing viewers to cry, with some saying it was “one of the three most tearful episodes in the history of My Hero Academia.”

In episode 159, “Battle Without Quirks,” the final episode of season 7, Ochako is stabbed with a knife and falls into a near-death state. Toga of the Villain Alliance seems to have developed affection for Ochako through the battle. He shares some of his blood with Ochako, saying, “I’ll give you all my blood,” and repeatedly expresses his gratitude for her being sympathetic to his past, saying, “Thank you, Ochako. It made me happy. I was really happy, Ochako.”

Until then, Toga’s obsession with blood and the act of hurting others was also a kind of expression of love. As she gave Ochako a blood transfusion, Toga cried as she imagined, “If only I had known this sooner. If only I had found love that made me want to give blood just as much as I wanted to drink it. Perhaps the world would be a better place to live in.”

The sight of Toga risking his life to save Ochako brought viewers to tears, with comments such as, “Love is what you want to take. Love is what you want to give. Himiko learned what love is,” “Toga-chan was the cutest, most normal girl in the world,” “This was one of the top three most tearful episodes in the history of My Hero Academia,” and “I couldn’t stop bawling my eyes out.”

In addition, to coincide with the end of the seventh season, it was announced that the eighth season of the TV anime, “My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON,” will be broadcast in 2025. Many fans are excited, saying, “It’s the finale, I’ll savor every episode,” “I’ll watch it until the end,” and “Wow, it’s so cool.”

The anime “My Hero Academia” (commonly known as Hiroaka) is based on the hugely popular manga series by Kohei Horikoshi, which was serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” and has sold over 100 million copies worldwide. Set in a world where about 80% of the population has some kind of supernatural ability called “quirk,” the story follows the growth, battles, and friendships of the main character, Izuku Midoriya (CV: Daiki Yamashita), and his classmates.
