Chiikawa’s chilled sweets “Chiikawa Manmaru Yaki ~Something delicious and chewy~ (Chocolate flavor)” will be available at FamilyMart stores nationwide from September 24, 2024. It also comes with 11 types of glitter stickers.
“Chiikawa” is a manga drawn by illustrator Nagano and originating from X (formerly Twitter). It is a story about the always hardworking Chiikawa and her friends Hachiware and Usagi, as well as other unique characters, and has been broadcast as a TV anime on “Mezamashi TV” since April 2022.
They have expanded their business in a wide range of areas, including merchandise sales, collaborative cafes, and corporate collaborations, and the first six volumes of the book “Chiikawa: Something Small and Cute” are currently on sale from Kodansha.
“Chiikawa Manmaruyaki – Something Delicious and Chewy (Chocolate Flavor)” is a product from Bandai’s “Manmaruyaki” series.
This is the fourth in the series, and the 65mm diameter Imagawayaki is filled with chocolate cream and has Chiikawa and friends branded into the dough. There are nine different brandings, including Chiikawa, Hachiware, Usagi, and other cute characters.
There are 11 kinds of bonus glitter stickers. They depict scenes from Chiikawa and friends’ daily lives and short messages, making them soothing items to look at. The designs that appear are random, so you can enjoy the fun of collecting them. The price is 250 yen (tax included).
