It has been decided that “Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the Movie Ani-Art POP UP SHOP in TOWER RECORDS” will be held, where many goods using new “Ani-Art” illustrations from “Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the Movie” will be sold in advance. The event will be held from October 18th to October 27th at four Tower Records stores: Tower Records Shibuya, Yokohama Vivre, Nagoya Kintetsu Passe, and Umeda NU Chayamachi, as well as Tower Records Online.
“Jujutsu Kaisen” is a dark fantasy manga by Gege Akutami that ended its six-and-a-half-year serialization with the September 30th issue of “Weekly Shonen Jump” 44th issue of 2024. The story begins when a powerful “cursed object” is unsealed and high school student Yuji Itadori enters a world of battles surrounding curses. The comics, with volume 0 currently on sale as “Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School,” have already published 27 volumes.
The anime series began with the first season which aired on TV from October 2020 to March 2021, and the film “Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the Movie”, which was released in December 2021 as a prequel to the main story, was a huge hit, grossing a total of 26.5 billion yen worldwide.
The second season of the TV anime will air from July to December 2023, and a sequel to the TV anime, “Shimetsu Kaiyu”, is scheduled to be produced, as well as a compilation movie version of the second season, “Kaitama-Gyoku Owari”, to be released in 2025. In addition, the “Akutami Gege “Jujutsu Kaisen” Exhibition”, which was held at Shibuya Hikarie from July to August 2024, is scheduled to be held in Osaka in April 2025.
The “Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the Movie Ani-Art POP UP SHOP in TOWER RECORDS” will feature advance sales of a variety of goods featuring new Ani-Art illustrations from “Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the Movie” created specifically for the pop-up shop.
