The synopsis and preview scene cuts for episode 4 of the fall anime “Ranma 1/2,” “The Man Who Chased Ranma,” which will air on Saturday, October 26, 2024, have been released.
“Ranma 1/2” is a fighting romantic comedy that was serialized in “Weekly Shonen Sunday” from issue 36 in 1987 to issue 12 in 1996 by Rumiko Takahashi, who is also known for “Urusei Yatsura,” “Maison Ikkoku,” “Inuyasha,” “Rin-ne,” and “MAO,” and is still immensely popular today.
The story begins when Saotome Genma and his son Ranma, who had been training in China, come to the Tendo family. However, what appears there is a giant panda and a cute girl. After training in China, Ranma has a strange constitution that turns him into a woman when he is splashed with water, and turns him back into a man when he is splashed with hot water. Ranma and his friends get involved with the unique people around them, and they cry, laugh, and sometimes fall in love.
Episode 4: “The Man Who Followed Ranma” Synopsis
A man appears at Furinkan High School searching for Saotome Ranma. His name is Hibiki Ryoga.
Ryoga, who says he’s been through hell because of Ranma, declares he will get revenge and challenges him to a fight.
Ranma can’t think of any explanation and is not convinced, but Ryoga challenges him.
As the battle between Ryoga and Ranma unfolds, an unexpected tragedy befalls Akane…!?
Episode 4 of “Ranma 1/2,” “The Man Who Chased Ranma,” will begin airing on Nippon TV on Saturday, October 26th. It will be available exclusively on Netflix immediately after the broadcast.
