From the all-new TV anime “Ranma 1/2,” new merchandise featuring designs of Ranma, Ranma, Shampoo, Ryoga, and others has been released. Pre-orders are currently being accepted on the online store “Vivid,” which sells anime and manga merchandise.
“Ranma 1/2” was serialized in “Weekly Shonen Sunday” from issue 36 in 1987 to issue 12 in 1996 by Rumiko Takahashi, who is also known for “Urusei Yatsura,” “Maison Ikkoku,” “Inuyasha,” “Rin-ne,” and “MAO,” and is a fighting romantic comedy that continues to enjoy immense popularity today.
The story begins when Saotome Genma and his son Ranma, who had been training in China, come to the Tendo family. However, what appears there is a giant panda and a cute girl. After training in China, Ranma has a strange constitution that turns him into a woman when he is splashed with water, and turns him back into a man when he is splashed with hot water. Ranma and his friends get involved with the unique people around them, and they cry, laugh, and sometimes fall in love.
This time, a large number of new goods designed for the completely new TV anime “Ranma 1/2,” which began airing in October 2024, will be released.
The lineup of goods includes a wide variety of items such as “heart-shaped tin badges,” “acrylic stands,” and “leather coasters.”
Each one features solo shots of Saotome Ranma, Ranma, Tendo Akane, Hibiki Ryoga, Shampoo, Mousse, Kuonji Ukyo, and Genma (Panda), as well as illustrations of specific combinations. Check out to see
if there’s a combination you like, such as Shampoo approaching Ranma with a kissing face, or a rival shot of Ranma and Ryoga standing back to back.
By the way, although Ukyo and Moose are featured in the anime’s key visuals, the voice actors for them have yet to be announced. Why not keep the merchandise on hand while you wait for future announcements?
