The second collaboration between the TV anime “Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-” and the smartphone app “Kotodaman: Co-op Word RPG,” a new type of RPG where you fight with words, has been decided. From October 29, 2024, “Subaru & Beatrice,” “Rem,” and “Ram” will appear in the collaboration summon.
“Re:ZERO” or “Re:ZERO − Starting Life in Another World” is a fantasy based on the light novel by Nagatsuki Tappei, which began serialization on the novel submission site “Let’s Become a Novelist” in April 2012 and was published by “MF Bunko J” in January 2014. It depicts the story of
Natsuki Subaru, a young boy who is suddenly summoned to another world, who uses the power of “Return by Death” to rewind time after dying and confront his cruel fate.
The first season of the TV anime aired from April to September 2016. The second season was broadcast from July to September 2020, with the second half from January to March 2021. Two OVAs were also produced. The third season began airing in October 2024, with the Attack Arc (8 episodes in total) and the Counterattack Arc (8 episodes in total).
In this collaboration being held within “Kotodaman,” in addition to “Subaru & Beatrice,” “Rem,” “Ram,” “Echidna,” “Garfiel,” “Frederica & Petra,” and “Otto,” “Emilia & Rem & Ram” will also appear in the collaboration summon as a special Kotodaman.
Characters such as “Meili” and “Big Rabbit” will appear in the collaboration quest.
