The 37th episode of the anime “Wonderful Pretty Cure!”, which aired on October 13th, depicted Iroha and Satoru’s first date, and the internet was flooded with a huge response from viewers who warmly watched the incredibly pure date.

Iroha was excited about her date with Satoru, and dressed up in a dress and lipstick. When Komugi & Iroha and Satoru & Daifuku arranged to meet up, Yuki and Mayu happened to be passing by and offered to look after Komugi and Daifuku, so the date ended up being just the two of them.
At first, Iroha and Satoru seem a little awkward due to nervousness, but as they walk around the city, they gradually become more comfortable with each other. At the aquarium they stop at, Iroha honestly confesses her nervousness on their first date, to which Satoru responds with a 200-point line, “I like you both the normal Inukai and the nervous Inukai.” Iroha asks Satoru to call her by her name, and the two, calling each other “Iroha-chan” and “Satoru-kun,” walk home hand in hand.
Regarding this episode about their innocent date, there were many comments praising the carefully written and pure date, such as, “It’s great to see Satoru and Iroha being awkward around each other because she’s conscious of him as a lover,” “It was so pure that it made me feel embarrassed, it was so pure,” and “The date episode was amazing.”
“Wonderful Precure!” is the latest TV series in the anime “Precure” series, and is also a hot topic because it is the first time in the series’ history that a “dog” Precure has been born. The story is about a pet dog named Papillon (Cure Wonderful/Inukai Komugi) and her owner, a middle school girl (Cure Friendy/Inukai Iroha), who become Precure and help Garugaru, a mysterious creature whose heart is rumbling.
It will be broadcast every Sunday from 8:30 on TV Asahi affiliates from February 2024. Episode 38, “Komugi’s Hometown,” will air on October 20.
