In conjunction with the large-scale exhibition “Hashira Exhibition -And to the Infinite Castle-” for the TV anime “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba,” a limited-time themed cafe will open in Kyobashi, Tokyo on November 2nd. The cafe will offer a recommended menu focusing on the nine “pillars.”

“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” was serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” by Koyoharu Gotouge from November 2016 to May 2020. It tells the story of a boy, Tanjiro Kamado, whose family was killed by demons, who joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his sister Nezuko, who has also become a demon, back into a human, and throws himself into fighting demons.

The TV anime series produced by ufotable began with the first season, “Tanjiro Kamado: Unwavering Ambitious”, followed by the second season, “Entertainment District Arc”, the third season, “Swordsmith Village Arc”, and the fourth season, “Hashira Training Arc”, which began airing in May 2024. It has been announced that the “Infinite Castle Arc” will be produced as a trilogy of movies in the future.

A theme cafe offering menus inspired by the Demon Slayer Corps’ highest-ranking swordsmen, the Water Pillar Giyu Tomioka, the Insect Pillar Shinobu Kocho, the Flame Pillar Kyojuro Rengoku, the Sound Pillar Tengen Uzui, the Mist Pillar Muichiro Tokito, the Love Pillar Mitsuri Kanroji, the Wind Pillar Sanemi Shinazugawa, the Snake Pillar Obanai Iguro, and the Rock Pillar Gyomei Himejima will be open for a limited time from November 2nd to March 2nd, 2025.

The exhibition, “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Pillar Exhibition – And to the Infinity Castle – Cafe produced by ufotable Cafe,” will be held at the CREATIVE MUSEUM TOKYO CAFE, a museum cafe adjacent to the CREATIVE MUSEUM TOKYO, which opens on November 2nd.

The cafe offers 9 food items (with a special gift card), 9 dessert items (with a quote card), 9 drink items (with cup sleeves and paper coasters), and 9 bottled drinks (with bottles). Each item is inspired by a character and can be enjoyed with all five senses, including taste and smell.

The scents and ingredients used are inspired by the favorite foods and images of each pillar.

Let’s take a look at some of the menu items. The Water Pillar, Giyu Tomioka, ordered “salmon and cheese cream sauce pasta, salmon and boiled radish rice ball, drink, parfait, and bottled drink.”

The menu for Insect Pillar Kocho Shinobu is “Purple sweet potato potage pasta, ginger tsukudani rice ball, drink, parfait, and bottled drink.”

The menu for the Flame Pillar, Rengoku Kyojuro, is “laksa-flavored pasta, sweet potato and mimolette cheese rice ball (spicy), drink, parfait, and bottled drink.”

In addition, when you order food, desserts, or drinks, you will also receive various bonuses such as a “Specialty Card,” so don’t miss out (bottled drinks excluded).

There are nine different menu items, priced at 1,890 yen for food, 1,290 yen for desserts, 890 yen for drinks, and 1,890 yen for bottled drinks (all prices include tax).

Along with the large-scale exhibition “Hashira Exhibition -And to the Infinite Castle-“, why not enjoy a meal at the themed cafe?
