The official guidebook looking back on the second season of the TV anime “Jujutsu Kaisen”, “Kaitama/Tamaori/Shibuya Incident”, will be released on October 4, 2024. To commemorate this, an interview between Director Goshozono Shota and Producer Seshita Keisuke, as well as a part of a roundtable interview with the three main cast members, Enoki Junya who plays Itadori Yuji, Uchida Yuuma who plays Fushiguro Megumi, and Seto Asami who plays Kugisaki Nobara, have been released in advance.
“Jujutsu Kaisen” is a dark fantasy by Gege Akutami that is currently being serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” and has sold over 90 million copies in total, including digital versions. The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2020 to March 2021, and the first film adaptation, “Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie,” was a huge hit, grossing 26.5 billion yen worldwide.
The second season of the TV anime, “Kaitama: Tamaori / Shibuya Incident”, was broadcast from July to December 2023, and received a great response not only in Japan but also around the world. The production of the sequel to the TV anime, “Shimetsu Kaiyu”, and the release of the second season “Kaitama: Tamaori” movie compilation in 2025 have been decided, and it has been announced that the original work will be completed with the issue of “Weekly Shonen Jump” on September 30, 2024, which is getting more and more exciting.
