What is your favorite “bear” character? Survey deadline is October 16th

October 27th is “Teddy Bears Day.”

Teddy bears are well known as stuffed teddy bears, but their name comes from the nickname of Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th President of the United States. Since Roosevelt had an episode related to bears, his birthday was designated as the anniversary.

Bear-related characters often appear in anime too. They may be bears who live with humans, love bear goods, or have the word “bear” in their nicknames or names.

So, Anime! Anime! will be conducting a reader survey titled “What comes to mind when you think of a ‘bear’ character?”, following on from last year. Please answer in free-form, telling us the character and the name of the work you think it is.
